Sephiroth (One-Winged Angel Aristocrats) Bracket 4 MTG Proxy Commander Deck

SEPHIROTH - ONE-WINGED ANGEL ARISTOCRATS

Every creature that dies costs each opponent a life. Every single one.

Sephiroth became the most-built mono-black commander in the format in
January 2026, and this is the version tuned all the way up: a Bracket 4
aristocrats combo deck where the commander is both the sacrifice outlet and
the payoff. On entering or attacking, Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER sacrifices a
creature to draw a card. Every other creature death drains an opponent for
one. Four deaths in a turn and he transforms into Sephiroth, One-Winged
Angel, and every transform leaves a permanent emblem that keeps draining for
the rest of the game. Nobody can interact with an emblem.

The main win is a loop of three cards. Warren Soultrader sacrifices
Gravecrawler for a Treasure, the Treasure recasts Gravecrawler from the
graveyard, and every death drains through Sephiroth, Blood Artist or
Zulaport Cutthroat. Forsaken Miner does the same job every time you target
an opponent. The second loop is Mikaeus, the Unhallowed giving the team
undying: Yawgmoth, Thran Physician, Ashnod's Altar or Phyrexian Altar
sacrifices a creature, it comes back with a +1/+1 counter, Yawgmoth's -1/-1
counter cancels it, and it never stops.

When there is no loop, there is a pile of black mana. Cabal Coffers,
Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx, Crypt Ghast and Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth pay for
Torment of Hailfire at a lethal X, a Gray Merchant of Asphodel off full
devotion, or a Bolas's Citadel chain that plays the top of the library with
life.

The deck never runs out of bodies. Bitterblossom, Ophiomancer, Endrek Sahr,
Master Breeder and Tombstone Stairwell make them; Viscera Seer, Carrion
Feeder, Yawgmoth and Phyrexian Tower sacrifice them for free; Skullclamp,
Grim Haruspex and Village Rites turn each death into cards. Grave Pact and
Dictate of Erebos make every sacrifice an edict for the whole table, and
Fleshbag Marauder, Plaguecrafter, Merciless Executioner and Gaius van
Baelsar do it on their own.

It is a high-power shell rather than a cEDH one, and it is honest about
that: Dark Ritual and Jet Medallion for speed, Diabolic Intent to find the
loop, Orcish Bowmasters, Toxic Deluge and Massacre Wurm as interaction, and
Bloodghast, Reassembling Skeleton and Nether Traitor to keep coming back
after a wipe. Two Game Changers, no counterspells, and a commander that wins
out of nowhere.
