EDGAR MARKOV - VAMPIRE ARISTOCRATS

Edgar Markov has been the best Vampire commander since 2017, and this is the
tuned version. Eminence gives you a token from the command zone every time
you cast a Vampire, and with fifty creatures in the list that means three or
four bodies before most opponents have played a second land. It is a Bracket
4 aristocrats deck: no Game Changers, but a two-card infinite drain and the
sacrifice loops to back it up.

The clean win is Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose with Bloodthirsty Conqueror.
Any life gain triggers Vito, any opposing life loss triggers Conqueror, and
the two bounce off each other until the table is at zero. Marauding Blight-
Priest forms the same loop with Conqueror. One Blood Artist trigger, one
Cruel Celebrant leaving play, or one Sanctum Seeker attack is enough to
start it.

The grind plan is Phyrexian Altar or Ashnod's Altar with Oathsworn Vampire.
Sacrifice it, gain a life, recast it from the graveyard. Every cast is a
Vampire spell so Eminence makes a token, and every sacrifice drains through
Blood Artist, Vengeful Bloodwitch and Susurian Voidborn. Pitiless Plunderer
turns the Ashnod's Altar version into Treasure. Viscera Seer, Yahenni,
Undying Partisan, Bartolomé del Presidio and Goblin Bombardment are the free
outlets.

Combat works too. Captivating Vampire and Cordial Vampire grow the team,
Edgar's attack trigger grows it again, Impact Tremors and Purphoros, God of
the Forge ping the table for every token, and Sanctum Seeker drains per
attacker. Olivia's Wrath only hits non-Vampires, which is every creature you
do not control. Bloodline Bidding brings the whole tribe back after a sweep,
and Elenda, the Dusk Rose leaves an army behind when she goes.

Card flow is Skullclamp on 1/1 tokens, Champion of Dusk, Welcoming Vampire,
Black Market Connections and Deadly Dispute. Removal is Swords to
Plowshares, Path to Exile, Anguished Unmaking, Get Lost and Stroke of
Midnight, with Boromir, Warden of the Tower and Selfless Spirit for
protection. The mana base is the full Mardu fetch-land suite plus Blood
Crypt, Sacred Foundry and Godless Shrine, so the one-drops land on curve
every game.
